Collard Greens are the perfect southern-inspired side dish and so full of flavor. This member of the cabbage family has a dense flavor and a meaty, tender texture unlike any other cooked green you’ve had before.

Ingredients

  • 1 small pkg turkey tails
  • 30 collard greens
  • 3 jalapenos
  • Greens seasoning

Instructions

  • Cover turkey with water and cook on low for about 2 hours or till tender.
  • Wash, remove stem, and cut collards and add to turkey and cook on medium high for 1 hour.
  • Add chopped jalapenos and leave seeds in only one for heat.
  • Add greens seasoning to taste and cook an additional hour or until as tender as desired.
